Big Picture : US Rifle Platoon

I was looking through some of my old pictures and came across this photo of a US Rifle Platoon (with supporting M3 Half Track) from the Military Odyssey living history event in 2007. I thought it worth putting up as this weeks Big Picture because I recently just finished painting one of these platoons for my FOW forces.

    I might be... I'm probably going to miss Salute this year (clashes with kids half term when we normally go away) so I was planning on doing Cavalier as an earlier alternative. But...[sigh]... this is the day when my eldest daughter gets back from her Skiing holiday with the school.

    I'm supposed to pick her (and her luggage) up at some point during the day. At the moment I don't know when she is due back, if its mid day I'm snookered. Unless I can find a willing family member with a car that can help out. So - long story short - everything is still to play for at the moment, but don't hold your breath! Bl**dy kids!! LoL
