Big Picture : Churchill AVRE
This picture was taken in 2009 at the Royal Engineers Museum in Kent. It's a Churchill 6.5 AVRE, one of "Hobart's Funnies".
There are several Funnies in the grounds of this museum and they are an often overlooked yet important element in the success of the D-Day Landings.
