Slow Painter

I am a VERY slow painter. Over the weekend I started two new models and despite having time on my hands I made only minimal progress with them.

  1. I like the skin tones on the nymph, any chance that you could give a more detailed colour spec?

  2. I have only done the basecoat at this stage and have used Vallejo Game Color #4 Elf Skintone. I will the use #34 Bonewhite for highlights and use a wash of #36 Bronze Fleshtone for shading. For male fleshtones I tend to go darker but for this model I want the skin to be very pale and subtle.

  3. I'll keep watching - for how you proceed - I am not familiar with Elf Skintone, I might have to pick up a bottle, I have already promised myself a bottle of Ivory after reading how another painter uses it to highlight.
