Hi Lee,
ReplyDeleteI remember these very well - and the fact that most of them were used for things other than that which they represented! The 25pdr was really useful and served as artillery and as an anti tank gun for UK, US, German and Russian armies; as did the truck and the SP Gun. I really liked the Tiger tank and used those as well.
They were also cheap as chips - an important consideration for the aspiring wargamer relying on the proceeds of his paper round!
Thanks for sharing - brings back many happy memories!
All the best,
DC
Fondly remember those toys from my youth. The ones in your pic are in perfect condition, even the boxes look new. Thanks for sharing Lee.
ReplyDeleteYup, I remember them too. Wish I'd kept a hold of them now ;-) Good post. Cheers
ReplyDeleteNice. They don't thave the rare Elefant though! :-)
