I've been to SELWG 2012

I'm in the process of uploading the 200+ pictures I shot at SELWG today and hopefully I'll be able to edit and label them by tomorrow. In the meantime here's a sneak peak of the main hall area where I spent the best part of six hours talking to friends old and new, spending cash and gawping at some amazing display games.

SELWG 2012

I actually didn't spend as much as I had planned but only because the traders I went to hadn't brought the stock I wanted (I've never mastered this pre-ordering malarkey). But I'll be going online over the next few days to fill the gaps in my shopping list so its not the end of the world.

One purchase however was an impulse buy and I lay the blame firmly at the Rejects door - they must take collective responsibility for talking me into this - some GHQ Micro Armour. I only bought a few models, just to try them out, but at a mere £16.50 for four platoons of tanks I'm rapidly warming to the idea! Anyway I'll post more on these at a later date and hopefully the first installment of my SELWG photo's will be posted here tomorrow.

  2. Nice one Lee. Good to see you at the show. I feel sure your show report will cover more with about 150 more photos to choose from than I do. I look forward to seeing all the things I missed.

  5. Have you tried FOW with the GHQ micro armour?
I was thinking it might translate over if you replace inches with cm eg 4" = 4cm? might get a bit fiddly but the ground scale may look more realistic since the models are 2.8x smaller but the ground scale is only 2.5x smaller?

    1. Not yet. I encountered the idea at this show so I'll have to give it a go in the near future

Thank you for leaving a comment. I always try to reply as soon as I can, so why not pop back later and continue the conversation. In the meantime, keep rolling high!
