There is plenty more to restore in the field next door

This is a really good museum with plenty to keep the enthusiast happy. If you are ever in the area its well worth a visit.

  1. Great pics, love the Muckleburgh Collection. I took my kids there a few years ago and they found it really bizarre that they had a Gulf War 1 exhibition. Daddy was in a museum they shouted!!!

Last pic, bottom right - good old Stalwart, that brought back memories of driving around SALTA BAOR!

    1. The museum certainly has the space to expand their collection and I hope to see more on display in future years.

  2. Apparently I'm in there as an exhibit (in a photo). Never been there, though.

    1. Yeh, its a 'design classic'! I've seen V1's in several museums but the only other place I have seen part of the launcher ramp is at Duxford.

Thank you for leaving a comment. I always try to reply as soon as I can, so why not pop back later and continue the conversation. In the meantime, keep rolling high!
