I have always had trouble with tr...Excellent post.<br /><br />I have always had trouble with traps in dungeons I design. For that matter I have always had trouble designing the traditional almost aimless dungeon associated with older editions of D&D. My mind tends to default to a rational center, even when working in sci fi or fantasy. There are, however, ways around this even in the classic dungeon sense.<br /><br />Some the things I have used are -<br /><br />1) Caretaker monsters or constructs.<br /><br />2) Designs of either enchanted or special materials that do not suffer the ravages of time.<br /><br />3) Magical instead of mechanical workings.Eli Arndthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10445801567500822187noreply@blogger.com
