The phone has the added benefit of being able to take photos that can be associated with the verbal notes, depending on how involved you want to be.<br /><br />2. I know many solo gamers take notes by whatever means they prefer and actually take the time to write up an actual narrative to go along with the game. Whether it is from the viewpoint of the Bard in your D&D group, or the orderly for the commanding Brigadier General, the narrative is part of the gaming experience for us and serves as a better reference months down the road.
