They are so easy to put together and to paint, the detail is sharp, but for $3 who cares, you can make them look detailed in your painting. I plan on getting more Panzer IIIs and Panzer IVs and I am seriously considering buying 30 of the T-26s and running a T-26 horde for a midwar Russian list. It would be less than $100 to get all of them. My Dad also bought 8 Katyusha Kits and they are also great, but they take about 20 minutes to assemble each because there are a lot of little pieces. I just wish they made Panthers.CBax https://www.blogger.com/profile/05561664733351869010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-85036400021536642522012-01-13T12:29:05.867+00:002012-01-13T12:29:05.867+00:00Noticed they're giving us a Matilda and Hurric...Noticed they're giving us a Matilda and Hurricane later this year... :-)Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15785517757211882618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-70313675943002765492012-01-13T08:45:56.995+00:002012-01-13T08:45:56.995+00:00Nice review... the price is a major factor, especi...Nice review... the price is a major factor, especially if you're starting off and want to build the core of an Army quick and cheap. They can always be replaced by 'better' models later but for the price of one platoon of battlefront tanks you could field a whole company of these models.

As I said in my post I bought these just to check them out but I'll definitely be looking at this range for future options.BigLeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00960213980906190335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-8540541602906072652012-01-13T08:45:48.255+00:002012-01-13T08:45:48.255+00:00Im loving the Zvezda kits that i bought recently, ...Im loving the Zvezda kits that i bought recently, and have had absolutely no problems painting themAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-80863316401046970822012-01-13T08:39:20.472+00:002012-01-13T08:39:20.472+00:00I found the plastic quite hard, similar in density...I found the plastic quite hard, similar in density to Airfix plastic. They will look different when placed next to a metal or resin model but considering their price they really are quite good. As already mentioned the range is primarily early war / Barbarossa themed but if that's your thing then they are definitely worth checking out.BigLeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00960213980906190335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-7875041074133161882012-01-13T05:32:53.396+00:002012-01-13T05:32:53.396+00:00Nah, the plastic isn't soft in my experience. ...Nah, the plastic isn't soft in my experience. I painted up 10 Panzer IIIs (link here: http://www.wwpd.net/2011/11/zvezda-panzer-iii-g-review.html ) and was quite impressed with them!

I've also painted 3 of their Shturmoviks, and they were a treat. Got a review coming up soon.Stevenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00828249624651092157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-82674624040403024942012-01-12T20:06:16.533+00:002012-01-12T20:06:16.533+00:00I hear the plastic is quite soft?I hear the plastic is quite soft? The Angry Lurkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01227314379603418332noreply@blogger.com
