I think you have settled once and for all the "microarmor question" that many of us have when trying to figure out what the heck to do with the piles of microarmor we've collected over the years. Flames of War in 6mm is a terrific idea.Disgruntled Fusilierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10995610821904415726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-75112102404148933872013-09-03T18:25:16.242+01:002013-09-03T18:25:16.242+01:00Lovely work Lee. Easier to paint, cheaper, true mass effect, tactical and strategic options on a regular table, carry everything in one box....Broedershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18218127480258279732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-19512016849519607272013-09-01T18:47:39.590+01:002013-09-01T18:47:39.590+01:00I'm working on it! I still have a lot of painting to do and I need to make some more terrain (also on the to-do list), but yes, the plan is a full scale game before the year is out. Mind you, I want sympathetic players, because I have never umpired a game before. This could be a triumph or a disaster!!BigLeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00960213980906190335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-3887884495340290832013-09-01T16:31:20.078+01:002013-09-01T16:31:20.078+01:00Nice work Lee, sounds like you know what your doin...Nice work Lee, sounds like you know what your doing, is this "Game before Christmas " gonna happen????Ray Rousellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07352596392520905197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-80995483204858436262013-08-31T14:52:56.208+01:002013-08-31T14:52:56.208+01:00Nice to see another gamer giving 6mm some love.I l...Nice to see another gamer giving 6mm some love.I like to base my 6mm armour for the same reason. Gives you a little spacing. My stuff is on bigger 30mm bases originally for Spear Head and it gives you a lot of scope for adding scenic items to the base. A benefit is that a lot more players will know those rules.Itineranthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05344688763064409885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-52208044278215489362013-08-30T14:03:41.113+01:002013-08-30T14:03:41.113+01:00Funny, we've found a similar visual effect dro...Funny, we've found a similar visual effect dropping Bolt Action from 28mm to 15mm. All of a sudden, things like weapon ranges start to seem a little more realistic. Now all we need is a rule-set designed for 54mm, and we can start playing it in 28mm . . . .

FMBfireymonkeyboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05833974263127787678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-24327606409050612952013-08-30T12:47:53.812+01:002013-08-30T12:47:53.812+01:00Good idea, the bases do look good.Good idea, the bases do look good. The Angry Lurkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01227314379603418332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298399641711237003.post-55711684255268272692013-08-30T12:22:14.704+01:002013-08-30T12:22:14.704+01:00I really like your 6mm FOW project and I have to a...I really like your 6mm FOW project and I have to agree on everything, from there reasons to end results. What I've grown to dislike at FOW is that exact parking lot effect. Plus, I suppose 6mm lets you play much bigger battles? I'd imagine moving vast soviet infantry hordes becomes quite a chore, though :DMathyoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11254075235438097742noreply@blogger.com
